Daily active addresses (DAA) refers to the number of addresses on a blockchain that performs some predefined task (sign transactions, send transactions, etc.). DAA can be a goodproxy forhow active a blockchain is versus simply measuring transactions since transactions can easily be spoofed/gamed, especially on chains with extremely low fees.
